UNLV EVENT TICKETS!

 UNLV Women's Wrestling competes in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA). UNLV Women's Wrestling became the first Nevadan collegiate Women's Wrestling team when they stepped on the mat in early 2023. 

Since Nevada just recognized high school women's wrestling for the 2026-2027 school year, UNLV organized as a club team. They compete intercollegiately, but our goal is to help them transition into a D-1 team from Club through our efforts. They currently train at a local high school, not on campus, and have limited funding, so donations are vital to keep them competing around the country.

In just two years, the Lady Rebels have built an impressive roster and an impressive list of awards.

The Lady Rebels placed 6th (57 teams) at the 2026 NCWA National Championships and came home with 6 All-American wrestlers. 

Cassandra Freundlich won her second 1st-place title in her division, and Felicia Bell also won top honors. Both wrestlers avenged early-season losses to their opponents. 

Also placing were Jordan Hunter, who placed second, Elizabeth Brunson, who was fourth, and Kaelynn Seidel, who was 5th. Also placing fifth was Mia Shepard at her weight class.

Kaelynn Seidel was recognized by earning Academic All-American status.

They achieved this on a shoestring budget, and my organization, Trending50, will help them sustain their success in the 2026-2027 season by partnering with Otonomus Hotel and a streaming service 9 part series "WrestlerHer" to host a fundraiser, a preview screening of the series, and a panel discussion on importance of women's sports on May 26 @ 6 pm just in time for the Title IX Anniversary.

The Country is celebrating the 51st Anniversary of Title IX in June, and Nevada women are celebrating the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA)'s recent decision to unanimously sanction women's wrestling as a high school sport separate from the boys in the 2026-2027 school year.

This pivotal announcement gives Nevada girls their own platform to compete for the first time and greater access to college scholarships.

Women's wrestling is the fastest-growing sport in the USA, whether for men or women.

The NIAA's timing could not be more important to UNLV's female Rebels, who attracted women wrestlers from as far away as Hawaii, Washington, and Alaska.

As a longtime resident of Las Vegas, a 30-year attorney, the founder of Trending50 (an organization dedicated to advancing female entrepreneurs), and a former college athlete, I know that women's sports are the incubator for our next generation of female leaders.

Renee Marie Smith said "This is the "why" I sponsored the Documentary  WrestlerHer, which focuses on girls' high school wrestling and the sport's 102% year-over-year growth, and support the UNLV women to raise awareness of the need to financially support our local female athletes."

UNLV Women's Wrestling is supported by local businesses through the formation of a 501(c)(3) and governance board chaired by Bill Rosado, who is a two-time Olympic wrestler, President of Managed Pay, and LVEA (Las Vegas Executives Association).

This charity will receive 50% of the event's ticket sales and can raise additional funds at the event.

Our goal is to raise $7,500 to $10,000 for the UNLV women's team to help fund their upcoming season, with a 300-person attendance, as tickets are $50 each.

There is no more deserving group of women in our Valley than the UNLV Lady Rebel wrestlers, who, through sheer love of the sport, have achieved so much with limited financial resources.
